Please note if you are traveling to campus for the Spring Career Fair free parking is available in the Houston field House Parking Lot only. Directions to the Field House.
Directions
- Driving Directions (GPS:42.729014, -73.676728)
- Amtrak Train Station Located in the city of Rensselaer, just a short cab ride to campus.
- Albany International Airport Located in Albany, just 20 minutes from campus.
- Leaving the airport, turn left onto Route 155, follow for 1/10 of a mile.
- At the traffic light, turn left onto Albany Shaker Road.
- Get on I-87 North via ramp on the left.
- Take exit 7 onto Route 7 toward Troy – stay on route 7 for 4.8 miles.
- Once you go over the bridge over the Hudson River, the highway becomes Hoosick Street.
- Stay straight on Hoosick Street for approximately 1⁄2 mile to intersection with 15th Street.
- Turn right onto 15th Street.
- Follow 15th Street for several blocks to the Rensselaer campus.
- Turn left on People's Ave and process to the Auxiliary, Parking, and Transportation Services Office (APTS) located at 2144 Burdett Avenue, Troy, NY 12180 to obtain a Parking Pass before proceeding to the Visitor’s Parking Lot.
- After leaving the APTS Office, head West back down Peoples Avenue, and at second traffic light, take a left onto 15th Street. Drive past the intersection of 15th Street and Sage Avenue, through the first traffic light. The entrance to the Visitor’s Parking Lot will be your first left, just past the foot bridge. With your Parking Pass, Visitor Parking is available behind the Public Safety and Access Control Office (PSAC), which is the first building on your left at 1624 - 15th Street.

- If you plan to ship materials to the CCPD for an upcoming presentation or the CCPD Spring Career Fair, please send your materials to: Center for Career and Professional Development, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, DCC 209, 110 8th Street, Troy, NY 12180-3590. Kindly mark your shipped materials clearly with your organization's name, and the contact information for whom it will be held.
Parking
- Upon arrival to campus, drive directly to the new Auxiliary, Parking, and Transportation Services Office (APTS) located at 2144 Burdett Avenue, Troy, NY 12180 to obtain a Parking Pass before proceeding to the Visitor’s Parking Lot. The APTS Office is located on the corner of Burdett and Peoples Avenues, in a brick building on the right, as you’re facing the Houston Field House. The phone number is (518) 276-6616. The daily parking pass fee is $7.00 per day (cash or checks only). Please make sure your pass is visible.

- Parking is avaialble ay park in the Visitor's Parking Lot, located at 1624 15th Street, Troy, NY. There are metered slots available here for short visits and there is no fee to park on campus after 5pm.
- The Campus Parking Map may help if you will be visiting other offices on campus.
- CCPD SPRING CAREER FAIR REPS: Please note that the parking fee is included with your career fair registration fee. You will receive more detailed information regarding your parking options prior to the event.
Office Location and the CCPD Interview Center
- The Center for Career and Professional Development is located on the second floor of the Darrin Communications Center (DCC), Suites 207-214.
- The CCPD Interview Center is located on the third floor of the DCC, in room 345. To get there from the VIC Parking Lot, walk across the footbridge toward the center of campus. Go through the lobby of the George Low CII Building (directly in front of you as you are walking across the footbridge). The CII is connected to the DCC building, so keep walking through the lobby area. Once you pass over to the DCC, follow the building as it curves around to the left, and it will lead you to the CCPD Interview Center, located at the end of the hallway. Our receptionist will be there to greet you and provide you with your booth assignment.

- You can find the location and time of your Information Session on JobLink under the "Events" and "Information Session" tab. You typically will have access to the room 30 minutes prior to your start time.
