Our Career Libraries are located in the CCPD Lounge (DCC 214).
Stop by and check out all of the career development resources we have available. Listed below you'll find just a sample of what we have to offer. And please remember, due to the limited quantities of materials we can purchase, our books, directories and other materials DO NOT circulate outside of the CCPD. - Directories
Large, comprehensive, national, and international directories like CorpTech and Ward's, as well as smaller regional or industry specific resources. This is the section to use for developing a list of organizations to target in your job search.
- How To...
This section contains "how-to" guides for various stages of a job search including topics like resume and cover letter writing, interviewing, and salary negotiation.
- Co-op / Summer / Internships
Resources for finding a co-op, summer, or internship positions are included here. Also, you can find co-op housing information and work reports from students who have participated in the co-op program previously.
- Occupational Information
This is a good section to look at if you are exploring career options or investigating a specific career. Guides include information on skills needed, typical duties, career paths, and salary.
- Graduate School
In this section, you will find Peterson's Guides to graduate school, a good starting point for anyone considering graduate study. Also, you can find catalogs from the top law schools, MBA programs, and other graduate programs.
- Special Topics
This section contains books specific to certain populations (e.g. women, physically challenged, and minority groups).
In addition, feel free to use one of our computers.
