Graduated from Rensselaer with a mechanical engineering degree.

1919-1960

Associated with the Ludlow Valve Company of Troy, New York, serving as production manager, works manager, treasurer, president, and chairman of the board.

1925

Elected a Life Trustee of Rensselaer in, the youngest person ever so honored.

1944-1958

Served as President of Rensselaer; doubled Rensselaer's enrollment; increased campus size from 93 acres to 220 acres; increased school's assets from 17 million to 51 million.

1955

Developed the Hartford Graduate Center in Hartford, Connecticut.

1977

Died in in Troy, NY.
