Reunion & Homecoming Weekend

Reunion & Homecoming Weekend, October 2-4, combined the best traditions of past weekends with a host of new activities, including FanFest, held at the new East Campus Athletic Village.

The slideshow at right, features

  • the Class of ’59, which boasted more than 100 members attending the festivities,
  • the Class of ’79, gathered for the Celebration of Classes at the East Campus Athletic Village,
  • the Class of ’84’s rendition of Michael Jackson's “Thriller,”
  • entertainment by comedian Erick James ’99, and
  • Lambda Chi Alphas 100th Anniversary.

Rensselaer Club of NJ Tours Meadowlands

Members of the Rensselaer Club of New Jersey enjoyed a behind-the-scenes tour in September of the new Meadowlands Stadium, which will host the New York Giants and New York Jets beginning with the 2010 season.

The Rensselaer Alumni Hall of Fame inducted its newest class at a ceremony on campus Oct. 1.

The new members are Hiram F. Mills, Class of 1856, Matthew A. Hunter ’49 (Hon.), and Robert G. Loewy ’47.
