Two alumni were recently elected to the American Institute of Architects College of Fellows (FAIA). This honor is one of the highest accolades a member of the American Institute of Architects can receive.
Frank Grauman ’73 is a LEED-accredited professional and principal of the architecture and design firm Bohlin Cywinski Jackson. Based in Philadelphia since 2002, Grauman was the
former managing principal of the firm’s Wilkes-Barre office before assuming the role of design principal. Of the 104 newly selected fellows, Grauman was one of 18 to be recognized for his significant contributions to architectural design.
Francis Murdock Pitts ’75 is president of Architecture+, a Troy, N.Y., firm that has been serving clients in health care, government, education, and other cultural and community organizations in the Capital Region for over 25 years. He was elected in recognition of his notable contributions to the advancement of the profession through his groundbreaking planning and design work of psychiatric facilities.
