2007 Accepted Student Celebration
April 14, 2007: Rensselaer hosted more than 3,000 visitors to campus for the Accepted Student Celebration on Saturday, April 14. The visitors included more than 1,000 accepted students from 34 states, as well as Canada, South Korea, and Denmark. |

Highlights From Grand Marshal Week
April 2, 2007: Last week, the campus was buzzing with activity as students and members of the Rensselaer community participated in a series of events to celebrate student life and government, cultural diversity, and the performing arts. Grand Marshal Week 2007, a week of campuswide celebrations and student elections, was held from March 24-31. This year’s theme, “Institute of Rock,” focused on celebrating student life and culture with the spirit of “all things Rockstar!” The GM Week Committee developed a comprehensive schedule of events featuring more than 100 Rensselaer Union student organizations. |

Graduate Accepted Students Celebration
March 30, 2007: The office of graduate admissions recently hosted 90 accepted graduate students to participate in the 2007 Graduate Accepted Students Celebration. According to George Robbins, director of graduate admissions, “this was the largest attendance we’ve had since the inception of the GASC event.” |
