Jack S. Parker

Jack S. Parker, following his graduation as a mechanical engineer from Stanford in 1939, spent the next 10 years in various engineering positions before joining the General Electric Company where he remained for the remainder of his career. He also received an L.L.D. from Clark University, a D.B.A. from Southeast Massachusetts University, and an honorary doctorate of laws from Rensselaer in 1987. He was a former member of the Rensselaer Council and is a member of The Stephen Van Rensselaer Society of Patroons of Rensselaer.

Parker is a member of the National Academy of Engineering, Fellow AIAA, Fellow ASME, as well as numerous other professional societies and business boards.
