Research Statement:
Primary research focused on multiscale turbulence using experimental (LDA), theoretical (asymptotic methods) and computational tools (DNS & LES).
Understanding the role of initial conditions on the downstream flow and its implications on flow control (i.e., separation, drag reduction, heat transfer) of the velocity/temperature fields in boundary layers is a major focus of research of my research. Recent projects include the role of the turbulent boundary layer on wind turbine arrays and high speed flows. |
